Robert J. Fitzsimmons is Managing Partner of High Road Capital Partners, which was founded in January 2007. Previously, Bob served as a Managing Partner with The Riverside Company, a private equity firm focused on the smaller end of the middle market with $1.5 billion in capital under management. Bob was with Riverside from 1994 through 2006 and led the acquisition of 18 companies (nine platforms and nine add-ons). Bob has investment experience with manufacturing, service, and distribution businesses engaged in a wide range of industries. During his tenure at Riverside, Bob served on the Board of Directors of 13 of its investments.
Prior to joining Riverside in 1994, Bob was an investment professional with Citicorp Venture Capital, an investment banker with Citicorp Mergers & Acquisitions, and an auditor and tax accountant with Price Waterhouse. Bob received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984 and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago in 1989. For the past several years, Bob has chaired the Capital Roundtable's Master Class on Smaller Middle Market Buyouts, and he is a frequent speaker at private equity industry events.

C. Connell - PartnerWilliam C. Connell is a Partner of High Road Capital Partners. Previously, Bill was a Vice President with The Riverside Company. Bill was with Riverside from 2002 through 2006 and was involved in five acquisitions and three exits, and served on the Board of Directors of four portfolio companies. Prior to joining Riverside in 2002, Bill spent five years at Connell Limited Partnership, a holding company that owns controlling interests in several manufacturing companies. Bill worked in the finance function at Connell Limited Partnership and in the operations of the Partnership's portfolio companies. Bill graduated from Boston College in 1994 with a B.A. in English, and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.

M. Goodrich - PartnerJeffrey M. Goodrich is a Partner of High Road Capital Partners. Previously, Jeff was a Vice President with The Riverside Company. Jeff was with Riverside from 2002 through 2006 and was involved in five acquisitions and two exits, and served on the Board of Directors of 3 portfolio companies. Prior to joining Riverside in 2002, Jeff spent six years in the Corporate Finance Division of IBJ Whitehall Bank & Trust Company, where he provided senior debt, mezzanine debt, and equity co-investments to support middle market buyouts and recapitalizations. Jeff graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994 with a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in International Relations, and received his MBA in Finance and Accounting from New York University's Stern School of Business.

William B.R. Hobbs - PartnerWilliam B.R. Hobbs is a Partner of High Road Capital Partners. Bill has worked in the past as CEO, chairman, and director of portfolio companies for several private equity firms. He has served in president and CEO roles in diverse industries such as construction equipment, steel processing, industrial distribution, plastic and metal manufacturing, direct mail catalog and Internet retailing. He has worked in companies ranging in size from $25 million to $1 billion in revenue with responsibility for operations in over 20 countries worldwide. Bill’s primary responsibility is to work with the management teams of High Road’s portfolio companies to achieve operational excellence, acquire and integrate add-on acquisitions, and strategically position themselves for maximum value creation.
Bill has a BA and an MBA from Harvard. He is also an Olympic silver medalist in rowing.

P. Prestegaard - Director of Business DevelopmentRichard P. Prestegaard is the Director of Business Development for High Road Capital Partners. In this role, he is responsible for leading the firm’s dedicated deal sourcing effort by establishing relationships with business intermediaries across the US and Canada. Prior to joining High Road in June 2007, Rich was an investment banker in the consumer products and retail industry group at Barclays Capital. Prior to joining Barclays Capital, Rich worked as an investment banker in the consumer/retail groups at Citigroup and Advest, and was a valuation consultant at Price Waterhouse. Rich is an experienced corporate finance and business development professional who has consistently succeeded in establishing new client relationships and building on existing relationships through a combination of creativity and responsiveness. Rich earned an MBA degree in finance and accounting from the Stern School of Business at New York University in 1996 and a BA in Sociology from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1991.

Ben A. Schnakenberg – Vice PresidentBen A. Schnakenberg joined High Road Capital Partners as an Associate in February 2008. Prior to joining High Road, Ben was a Senior Vice President at LaSalle Bank, now part of Bank of America, where he served for three years as the chief of staff to LaSalle’s CEO and where he had also previously spent three years in middle market commercial banking. Ben also spent two years at Madison Capital Funding, where he provided senior and subordinated debt financing and equity co-investments for leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations of middle market companies. Ben received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Political Science and English from Valparaiso University. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Adi J. Blum – Vice PresidentAdi J. Blum joined High Road Capital Partners in August 2008. Previously, Adi was an investment banker in Citigroup’s Mergers & Acquisitions group where he advised on transactions totaling more than $55 billion of transaction value in the industrial, telecommunications, media, transportation and energy infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining Citigroup, Adi was an Associate at Silver Oak Partners, a management consulting firm that focused on procurement optimization in public and private sector organizations. Adi also previously worked in the wireless industry as a business development professional. Adi received a B.S. in International Affairs from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.

Lauren Iamascia - Administrative Assistant
Lauren Iamascia joined High Road Capital Partners in July of 2008. Previously, Lauren was the Office Manager at Frank Graves Corporation which is an irrigation, lighting, and plumbing company. Prior to joining Frank Graves Lauren spent two years at Telephonics Corporation, an engineering and manufacturing company whose capabilities provide integrated information, communication, and sensor system solutions to military and commercial markets worldwide. At Telephonics Lauren worked as a Subcontracts Administrator in the purchasing department. Lauren graduated from Lehigh University in 2005 with a B.S. in Supply Chain Management. return to top
