High Road Capital Partners, a leveraged buyout firm that buys and builds niche market leaders at the smaller end of the middle market, has added William B.R. Hobbs as a partner. Hobbs will primarily work with the management teams of High Road’s portfolio companies to achieve operational excellence, acquire and integrate add-on acquisitions, and strategically position the companies for maximum value creation.

Smaller-middle-market buyout firm High Road Capital Partners has hired Richard Prestegaard as Director of Business Development. Prestegaard will concentrate on building relationships with business intermediaries while sourcing leveraged buyout opportunities in High Road’s targeted area of niche market leaders with revenues of $10 million to $100 million and EBITDA of $2 million to $10 million. Previously, Prestegaard spent nearly 10 years generating investment banking client relationships and transactions while at Barclays Capital, Citigroup and Advest.

Fitzsimmons, Connell and Goodrich announce formation of High Road Capital Partners

Smaller-middle-market buyout veterans Robert Fitzsimmons, William Connell and Jeffrey Goodrich have launched High Road Capital Partners, a New-York-based private equity firm focused on buying and building niche market leaders with revenues of $10 million to $100 million and EBITDA of $2 million to $10 million. Previously, the three worked closely together at The Riverside Company, a highly successful buyout firm focused on companies of the same general size. Collectively they have over 40 years of experience and have completed over $1.5 billion of smaller-middle-market LBO transactions.
